Wreckage of Survey Vessel 'Stargazer'
I think the navigation marker to the wreckage was visible as soon as I scanned the system.
A prominent and somewhat eerie feature of the wreckage was the intense smoke coming from it when getting within the final few kilometres.
I found the metallic meteorites towards the centre of the crater, downhill of the wreckage.
Whilst mooching around Maia, I came accross this wreckage in HIP 16378 3b at 37.0654, -147.8092. I interrupted what I was doing and started to investigate.
I landed and took the SRV out and scanned the ship's data points. Afterwards I roamed around the wreckage area looking for anything interesting, I ended up retrieving 21 pieces of Niobium. There were multiple metallic meteorite sites around the wreckage in the crater. It may have been the RNG gods were in my favour or maybe it was deliberately set up this way so you get a reward for exploring, I don't know.
