Alnitak is home to a goliath pristine metallic ring around the dwarf Y star Alnitak 8, over 1,000,000 km between inner and outer radius. The outer ring is even bigger (but metal rich rather than pristine metallic). Here are some screen shots of this beautiful ring and the beautiful Y star that it adorns.
